Which facials do we offer?

Infused Mesotherapy

How Mesotherapy Works

A wonderful non-surgical aesthetic treatment. This involves implanting a cocktail of vitamins and antioxidants into the upper and middle layers of the skin. Depending on the client and their requirements, during our mesotherapy we use a needling pen or a derma roller (this is discussed in detail at the consultation).Thousands of micro-needles are pressed against the skin using an electronic device, and as the holes close the adjoining skin regenerates and repairs. Mesotherapy enhances blood circulation, allowing faster penetration of these vitamins and antioxidants into the skin, allowing faster removal of toxins from the skin.

There is 3-core mesotherapy cocktails that we like to use. CLINICARE Glow, Tight and Refresh. These all contain varying combinations of Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides and other active ingredients to enhance your skin. At the free consultation, we access the skin and the condition and advise on the best treatment for you. Using these cocktails, we can tighten loose skin, reduce pigmentation, melasma, sun damage, acne scarring, acne spots and dull tired skin.

CLINICARE Glow

The CLINICARE EGF Glow mesotherapy cocktail contains a mixture of anti-pigmentation, hydrating, firming, tightening and antioxidant ingredients to eliminate uneven skin tone (such as age spots, melasma and sun damage), and to restore moisture and firmness caused by the degradation of native hyaluronic acid and collagen fibres.

• Clinicare mesotherapy offers fast-acting relief for pigmented and dehydrated skin

Depending on the condition, it could be anything from one to six treatments.

How long does the treatment take?
The Glow & Go express version of Infused Mesotherapy takes 30 minutes or the full treatment takes 45 minutes.

Does Infused Mesotherapy hurt?
During the consultation, we discuss the skin type and we use several different sizes of derma rollers and microneedles to suit the skin. We work up from a low needle to get the skin used to the needle. In some cases where people have sensitive skin, it is possible to use a topical anaesthetic.

How often should I have Infused Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy can be treated every 4-6 weeks.

What are the risks of Infused Mesotherapy?
Risks would be due to any medication being taken and any medical conditions. This would all be discussed at the consultation. If we foresee any complications, we may request consent from you GP, alternatively we may decline treatment as our client’s safety is always first.

What is the difference between Infused Mesotherapy and Ultimate Microneedling?
Mesotherapy and Microneedling are very similar treatments. They can work in the same way but Mesotherapy uses specific serums to penetrate to absorb into the skin better. This can be more suitable for really hydrating the skin and if the skin needs more TLC.

Is Infused Mesotherapy just available for the facial area?
No, the face, neck, breasts and décolletage can all be treated with mesotherapy.

What should I do after mesotherapy treatment?
Mesotherapy Aftercare:
1. Do not wash the skin for at least 8 hours after Mesotherapy treatment.
2. Avoid exercising for 48 hours after treatment.
3. Drink at least 2 litres of water the day of treatment and continue this intake of water for up to one week.

Ultimate Microneedling

Microneedling is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment, which is a fantastic way to encourage your skin to produce collagen. As we age the skin stops producing as much collagen which makes us lose volume and elasticity. Microneedling is used using a needling pen or dermaroller, depending on the client’s requirements. In most cases during microneedling thousands of micro-needles are pressed against the skin using an electronic device, and as the holes close the adjoining skin regenerates and repairs. This is a great treatment for acne scarring, stretch marks, loose skin and pigmentation. Microneedling is safe procedure for all, including those with sensitive skin.
Microneedling can be used on any area on the body, which on a microscopic level tricks the brain into thinking the skin is damaged due to this blood is sent to the area and the skin starts to produce oxygen and collagen which helps cell renewal, this process pushes collagen into the area, this then can repair and rejuvenate the skin.

Key Benefits:

• Fantastic results in reducing stretch marks – very few treatments offer this.
• A natural way to help your skin produce collagen.
• Minimal down time.
• State of the art, non-surgical aesthetic treatment.
• Ideal for acne scars & loose skin.
• Stimulates circulation, collagen & elastin production.
• Can be tailored to each individual’s needs to address specific concerns such as smoker lines, frown lines etc.
• Long lasting results
• Cost effective compared to other resurfacing procedures.
• It can be performed on all skin types.
• It can be used on all areas of the body and face, including fragile skin around eyes, mouth, neck and décolleté.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the treatment cost?
The full treatment is from £60. We also offer a Glow & Go version of this treatment for £45. This is more suitable for someone who has regular facials and to treat a more targeted area. We also have a loyalty card for you, so for every full priced facial you have, you collect 1 stamp. Every 4 stamps collected you will receive 50% off.

How long will the results last?
Clients that opt for one facial will see results for a few months, clients that opt for a course of 3-6 facials will see results last from 12-18 months.

How long does the treatment take?
The Glow & Go express version of Ultimate Microneedling takes 30 minutes or the full treatment takes 45 minutes.

Does Ultimate Microneedling hurt?
Some areas may be more sensitive than others, it is possible to use a topical anaesthetic in this case.

Can I have Ultimate Microneedling whilst breastfeeding?
Unfortunately, Microneedling is not possible during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

I’m on medication for my skin, is Ultimate Microneedling still possible?
Depending on the medication, we would seek consent from your GP prior to any treatment.

Can Ultimate Microneedling help with sun-damaged skin?
Yes, it can help with brown spots, scarring, stretch marks and sun damage through the production of new collagen

How many treatments do I need?
Microneedling can be repeated every 4-6 weeks. This allows new cells to come through, and for us to keep cellular production stimulated. results can be seen after 1 session. For a deeper area of concern, it can take up to 6 sessions.

Is Microneedling painful?
We can adjust the settings and tailor the treatment to any of our clients’ specific needs and comfort levels. For more targeted treatment, a topical anaesthetic is applied prior to the treatment, so we can perforate the skin at a lower depth, for optimum results.

What will I look like after the treatment?
With all our treatments, we can apply a cooling and deep hydration mask that helps to de-sensitise the skin, post-treatment. Depending on the treatment and the depth of the needles, some people will experience redness and mild swelling (similar to mild sunburn) for 24-48 hours, and there may be minimal pin-point bleeding and/or bruising. Within 1 week, you will notice that your skin is smoother and more radiant looking, but the full effects will be visible a few weeks after treatment, as new skin cell production has been boosted, and the cells regenerated.

What do I need to know for after the treatment?
For clients that have the acne scarring or deeper wrinkle treatments, we recommend that no make-up or other products are used on the skin for 24-48 hours until the skin has returned to its normal state. Thereafter, clients can start applying their recommended SPF moisturiser and normal products.
At 3-5 days post-treatment, clients may notice that the skin starts to shed due to the increased turnover of new skin cells, so we advise the use of a gentle, light exfoliator to remove the dead skin. Then, 5-7 days post-treatment, you will be able to see beautiful, new, radiant skin. We recommend that clients do not sunbathe for 2 weeks pre and post-treatment, and continue to use an SPF on their skin throughout the year. We recommend the Helio care products.
Clients who have the Collagen Boost Facial will generally experience very little to no redness after the treatment and can continue with their normal facial skincare products 24 hours after the facial. We recommend that clients do not sunbathe for 2 weeks pre and post-treatment, and continue to use an SPF on their skin throughout the year.

Is Microneedling suitable for me?
Microneedling is safe on all skin types, as the epidermis is not damaged during the treatment. Microneedling can be used on sensitive and fragile areas, such as eyes, upper lip neck and back of hands which cannot be treated easily with other treatments. Microneedling is not suited to people who have used Roaccutane in the past 3 months, have open wounds, cuts or abrasions, are suffering from a skin infection, condition or herpes simplex in the area of concern, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have any history of keloid scars or poor healing wounds.

Can I have Microneedling in combination with other treatments?
In most cases yes, but this will be discussed in more detail at consultation stage.

Collagen Induction Therapy

This luxurious treatment is using the exclusive 3D Lipo machine. Radio Frequency energy uses 40 degrees of heat to trick the skin into thinking its damaged, when your skin thinks its damaged as per the microneedling process, the skin starts to produce oxygen which stimulates collagen and elastin production, due to this the skin repairs itself. This process renews skin cells and therefore leaving a fresher looking, toned youthful glow. Its suitable for the majority of people with no downtime and a rise in popularity due to its sculpting results. Unlike some similar facials in Norwich and on the current market our Radio Frequency facial uses heat energy being electrical rather than light which is a lot more effective
Radio Frequency is a fantastic treatment that instantly improves dull and tired looking skin. It also enhances blood circulation allowing blood to pump round the face, helping to replace the volume and tightening the skin.

Key Benefits:

• Pain free alternative to other methods of skin tightening
• Results can be seen instantly
• Fantastic alternative to the Caci Facial

Prescription Peels

Key Benefits:
• Fast effective treatment
• Painless
• Minimal downtimes
• Works fantastic on problematic skin and pigmentation
• Deep exfoliation

Prescription Peels are perfect for refreshing tired and dull skin, and generally recharging skin that is damaged through scarring or pigmentation. They regenerate the skin by removing dead cells from the surface, revealing healthy cells underneath. Here are the chemical peels that we carry out:
As mentioned previously, we use different products to suit the clients, our favourite peels are the CLINICARE and the peels are as follows:

1. Glow Aha Peel – helps hyperpigmentation, age spots and dull/tired looking skin
This is a superficial glycolic acid (28%) peel that exfoliates the skin, encouraging the growth of new skin cells. Removing the dead skin cells, your skin will be left feeling rejuvenated, fresh and awake again. With added Kojic Acid (4%) to aid with brightening and reduce the appearance of dark areas of the skin, it’s a pigmentation facial that produces great results.

2. Pure BHA Peel – ideal to hydrate and rejuvenate sensitive skin and skin prone to acne
This mild salicylic acid (20%) peel is derived from willow tree bark that is both anti-inflammatory and antiseptic – a perfect solution for skin breakouts. This BHA peel also has a mild anaesthetic effect to reduce the pain associated with acne. Combined with lactic acid (12%) and glycolic acid (12%), this facial peel stimulates the production of collagen and reduces the amount of surface oil on the skin.

3. Refresh AHA Peel – helps to fine lines and wrinkles, firming the skin and adding moisture
Created with 48% glycolic acid, this refresh peel strips the epidermis layer of the skin, stimulating the growth of new skin cells. This toning facial peel also contains phytic acid, which protects the skin from free radicals (often released due to exposure of sunlight), helping to repair breaks in the DNA strands and thus smoothing out lines.

Depending on the strength, we offer peels from every one to four weeks.

How do I know which prescription peel will be best for me?
The strength and type of peel will be discussed and advised depending on your treatment concerns.

Can it be used in conjunction with any other treatment?
Yes, we often offer courses of microneedling or mesotherapy with chemical peels in between to enhance treatment.

Can I go on tanning beds?
We would not recommend tanning, as this is bad for the skin. If you do go into the sunlight, we would always advise a broad spectrum of SPF 50 on the face, as it is a very sensitive area.

Will my skin peel?
With a very sensitive skin, there is a possibility area of the skin may feel dry and possibly peel. This will all be discussed at the consultation. The case where the face would peel would generally be using a stronger peel and we use peels up to the strength of 38%, which we gradually increase each visit to get the skin used to the peel.

What do I do if my face becomes red after a prescription peel?
This is a normal process as the new skin cells are regenerating. The redness is just a result of the body’s natural inflammatory response.
