Q: Are Anti-wrinkle injections safe?
A: Yes, it has been used for cosmetic procedures for over 20 years, and as it is a prescription medication only certified professionals are able to administer the drug.

Q: Are the effects of Anti-wrinkle injections immediate?
A: Not quite, it takes between 3 and 14 days for the full effects of the anti-wrinkle injection treatment to be seen.

Q: How long does Anti-wrinkle injections last?
A: This differs from person to person. Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily freezes the facial muscles, it does need to be reapplied but should last between 3 and 6 months.

A: With any treatment performed using a needle there will be some slight discomfort, but it feels very similar to acupuncture.

Q: How long do Dermal Fillers last?
A: It all depends on how your body reacts with Hyaluronic Acid, but they usually last between 6 and 18 months.

Q: Do Dermal Fillers hurt?
A: There may be some discomfort as the filler is injected into the face, but an anaesthetic cream is applied before treatment to reduce this. The fillers themselves also contain a local anesthetic. Our doctors prefer to use the cannular approach which is a lot more comfortable compared to several fine injections.

Q: Is the process reversible?
A: It all depends on the type of filler used, but most are fully reversible from the time they are administered until they are absorbed by the body. Our doctors will be able to discuss this in more detail with you.

Q: How long does the treatment take?
A: It is a fairly quick process, but it all depends on the number of syringes you choose to have. Usually treatment ranges from 30 to 45 minutes.
